Clients seeking therapy are usually in pain, struggling emotionally and have realized they can’t move forward alone. My goal in therapy is to help you live more fully by, not only, identifying challenges but also exploring your inner strengths. This positive approach helps define both the clear paths and obstacles within life. The objective is an increased awareness of patterns that limit our feelings of connection with ourselves, our partners and our families. Together we will explore thoughts, behaviours, emotions and beliefs as they arise within supportive and constructive therapy sessions.

I work with many individuals who suffer from addiction, ADHD, ASD, depression, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder. Two specific groups I am adept at working with are people who struggle with porn use and those who have ADHD. I use a mix of CBT, ACT and IFS interventions to create a treatment plan that will help you achieve a place of peace in your life.

In terms of our work together-I don’t believe in creating unachievable standards - it’s all about baby steps when it comes to creating a better big picture of your life.

Clients who find my services effective are typically working on something important in their lives or careers, and they want someone who can track with them compassionately while challenging any unhelpful or limiting perspectives and ideas. Together, we process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship struggles, workplace issues and career development.

I use a combination of approaches including attachment-based theories, cognitive-behavioural techniques, psychodrama, mindfulness and positive psychology.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked at some of Canada’s largest companies, leading teams focused on employee training and leadership development. Helping people work better (and live better), while navigating the reality of modern workplaces is an enduring passion.

Growing the Blossom Psychotherapy practice and partnering with other therapists in this work is a distinct pleasure in this phase of my life and career.
